Overview

You have built a few basic agents in Copilot Chat. This is the next stage. Over one full day in Copilot Studio you will build ‘Scout’, a pre-meeting briefing agent that grows from a simple assistant into something autonomous: it checks your calendar, researches who you are meeting, writes a briefing, and sends it on Teams before the meeting starts. You will add knowledge, connect tools, and set triggers so it works without being asked. Still no code. The whole day is built around this one running example, so every new piece builds on the last.

What this course covers

  • The difference between an AI assistant and a true AI agent
  • Writing robust instructions with RTCCO for unsupervised work
  • Navigating Copilot Studio: instructions, knowledge, tools and triggers
  • Connecting tools so your agent can act in other Microsoft apps
  • Setting triggers so your agent works proactively
  • Testing, breaking and refining your agent

What participants will need

  • A Microsoft 365 licence with Copilot Studio access

  • Experience building basic agents in Copilot Chat
  • No coding or developer background required

Who it’s for

  • Non-technical people who have built basic agents and want more

  • Tools connected so it can act across your Microsoft apps
  • Triggers set so it works without being asked
  • The skills to test, troubleshoot and improve it
  • A list of your own agents to build next

Why TrainAI exists

TrainAI was built by Heather Murray – BBC and UK government AI advisor, regularly featured in Forbes, and founder of AI for Non-Techies.

After years of delivering AI training to organisations like Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Toyota, and the House of Lords, she kept hearing the same thing from other trainers: “I know AI matters, but I don’t have the time or the confidence to build courses from scratch.”

We won’t promise you’ll land clients within 90 days, anyone who does is over-promising, but the unit economics are transparent and you can run your own numbers.
