Getting started
Taking you from "just joined" to "ready to deliver"
to TrainAI
Brilliant to have you here. Genuinely.
You’ve just joined a community of AI trainers delivering AI workshops with content trusted by the likes of GSK, J&J and the BBC. The good news? You don’t have to work out how to get there on your own. We’ve broken it into five small steps. They’ll take you from “just joined” to “ready to deliver”, one stage at a time. Right, let’s crack on.

Step 1: Pop into Slack and say hello
Your Slack community is the best place to start. The other TrainAI trainers are already in there, sharing what’s working, asking questions, swapping wins, and occasionally sending a celebration GIF when someone books their first gig.
Head to #01-welcome and introduce yourself. Who you are, who you train, and what you’re hoping to do with TrainAI. Doesn’t need to be fancy.
While you’re there, have a peek at #09-lives-sessions-and-guest-sessions so you know when the next live session is happening. Pop it in your diary so you don’t miss it.
Step 2: Get a feel for the content library
Everything you can deliver lives in the library, sorted into three areas:
• Short Sessions: 1 to 2-hour sessions. The easiest place to start.
• Day Workshops: full-day, ready-to-deliver workshops.
• Flagship Courses: six-part premium courses for the bigger gigs.
Every course comes with a Resource Guide too: facilitator notes, demo prompts, tools, and white-label templates ready to brand as your own. We audit everything quarterly and release new content regularly, so what you’re delivering is always fresh.
You don’t need to read it all. Just have a wander and get a feel for where things live.
Pick a Short Session to poke around
Start small. Open one Short Session (Intro to ChatGPT for Business is a cracking first choice) and have a proper look at how it’s put together.
Open the resources guide, flick through the slides, and check the demo prompts. This is the bit where it clicks. You’ll see exactly how a complete, ready-to-deliver session is packaged up for you.
Step 4: Make it yours — brand your first template
Right, this is where it starts to feel real.
Take the template from the session you just explored (Canva or PowerPoint, whichever you prefer) and:
• Save or download it into your work environment (Microsoft or Google)
• Add your logo, your colours, your fonts
A few minutes of work and you’ve got a professional, fully-branded session ready to deliver under your own name. Pretty nifty, eh?
Logo on the title slide, colours in place, and that’s it. Your first TrainAI session, fully branded and ready to go.
Step 5: Plan your first delivery
You’re ready. Now have a think about where this session lands first. Which client, which team, which audience?
Here’s the maths bit (don’t worry, it’s the good kind). Book just one AI training workshop and your monthly TrainAI investment is sorted. Everything after that is profit.
Stick the next weekly live in your diary. And when you’ve booked your first session, come and tell us in Slack. We genuinely love a celebration.
